Wallpaper Cycler is an easy to use program to get rid of that boring static wallpaper on your desktop. Use this program to change the wallpaper with a specified delay or at a specific time.

Wallpaper Cycler is the completely rewritten version of Wallpaper Cycler 2.1 with greater possibilities and goes much further than most other wallpaper cyclers.

The new category system of Wallpaper Cycler allows you to organize all your wallpapers in multi-level categories, link categories to folders on your hard disk for quick synchronization, assign shortcuts to categories to quickly jump to a category, assign time limits to categories, enable/disable categories, and much more.

The number of wallpapers in your list is virtually unlimited.

Wallpaper Cycler now contains a layout system which allows you to make creative layouts for your wallpapers. Layouts make it possible to add a calendar, quotes, notes, webcam, and more to your wallpaper.

You can assign a number of effects to each object in your layout such as blur, transparency, mask, brightness and much more. The effect system can be augmented with 3rd party effect DLLs with the aid of the effects SDK.

Wallpaper Cycler includes an advanced random choice algorithm, can monitor your CPU load when it wants to cycle, has several types of tiling modes, can automatically calculate a suitable desktop background color, can make the icons transparent on your desktop or hide them completely, supports system wide hotkeys, has shell integration and much much more.

Wallpaper Cycler has three types of wallpapers: image, gradient and URL. URL wallpapers allow you to add webcams to your desktop.

Wallpaper Cycler supports much more image formats than previous versions, such as JPG, JPE, BMP, DIB, RLE, TIF, PNG, TGA, ICB, VDA, VST, JP2 (JPEG2000), JPC, PCX, DCX, PNM, PGM, PBM, PPM, RAS, ICO, ANI, EMF, and WMF.
