IRCAS Alarm is a PC based home alarm system and surveillance system for Microsoft Windows.

IRCAS Alarm is a background running application or service. You must not be login into windows to run IRCAS Alarm. It can be set on and off by (key) switches connected the PC's COM ports or via the http server. Evidence pictures are and can be stored in different ways:

- On your PC (always)
- On your website or any ftp-server (ftp upload)
- In an email box (when attaching pictures to a email-address and your mailbox is large enough)
- On the secure IRCAS servers (with full license only) (this can be disabled)

Limitations:

· To let the communication work correctly you must have the communications check done. You automatically get a try license incase you did not have a license. The IRCAS servers will recognize you and control your license and handle your data.
· You must always have a license. All communications are blocked without a valid license. Every time IRCAS Alarm wants to connect to the internet you license is checked.
· The IRCAS servers are data bases and can store all alarm messages and pictures (valid with full service license only) coming from the IRCAS Alarm system from the past 30 days. This data is there only for you and nobody else and is 100% confidential. Rombouts Electroncis / IRCAS will not pass the your stored information to others than you. See the IRCAS servers as a 30 days backup of your alarms in case of you do not have backup site or you can't access you computer from the internet.
