DESlock+ protects your data transparently with fast file, folder and email encryption. It can be used to encrypt any data including personal files, corporate information, confidential records and email attachments.

Licensing options include a USB security token supporting multiple, shared encryption keys for workgroup operation, or a single key Software licence for less complex applications, providing a low cost business solution or a completely free means to protect your personal information.

You could be forgiven for thinking that most security software is written by experts for experts. In a world where all too often a simple task can easily become frustratingly complex it is refreshing to find something where the opposite is true.

Drag a file into a DESlock+ encrypted folder; it's encrypted. Drag a file out; it's not encrypted. Log-out of DESlock+ and the whole folder vanishes. Best of all, you can create, open, edit and save files directly into an encrypted folder from any application. No extra steps, nothing to learn. Simple.

Where previous versions would only run with a DESkey USB Token, Version 3.0 also accepts a software Key-File.

What's New in This Release:

· Deleting encrypted folders requires that the encryption key used to protect the folder is available.
· If the key is unavailable, the deletion will fail.
· DESlock+ can not be used to encrypted folders which use NTFS native compression or encryption.
· Attempting to encrypt a compressed/encrypted folder or activating compression/encryption on a
· DESlock+ encrypted folder will fail.
· DESlock+ no longer supports encryption of shared folders across networks.
· After upgrading DESlock+ from versions prior to 2.10, you will be informed that a file needed is missing and would you like to rebuild it. It is vital to the functioning of DESlock+ that you choose Yes to this.
· Failure to rebuild this file will restrict access to your encrypted data.
· A new File Shredder has been added to DESlock+ 3.1.0.
· This appears as an icon on the desktop, dropping files onto it will permanently destroy the file.
· Shredding can be done with Cryptographically secure random numbers (fastest) or DoD 5220.22-M level deletion (configurable from 3 to 200 passes).
· The DESlock+ Shredder can also erase various Temporary file locations.
