The main purpose of this tool is to learn all the available remote control devices from the home, including infrared, radio and X-10 based, using specific hardware interfaces and then send them directly from your PC.

There is not the purpose of this tool to receive commands from an infrared control and then execute them on the PC (to control Winamp for example).

If you want this, you can choose several programs available free on the Internet (see WINLIRC, LIRC, etc). It is a good start to read all the information available on those sites. I developed this application mainly for remote control of many home equipments using the PC, locally or remote.

The graphical interface has 2 operation modes: full and minimal. In full mode you have access to all functions, including recording and analyzing. In minimal mode you can only choose a protocol, a command and send it with a click.
